    Daniels Memorial Healthcare Center

    Daniels Memorial Healthcare is pleased to announce re-opening for visitation. At this time, we ask visitors to phone ahead at (406) 487-5000 to ensure we can safely accommodate visitation. All visitors will be required to wear masks and be screened upon arrival. We look forward to seeing you!

    As of February 28, 2022, Daniels Memorial Healthcare Center has returned to performing Rapid COVID-19 tests for those traveling out of the country. We thank you for your patience and apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused. As supplies are available.

    HOME TEST KITS AVAILABLE

    Beginning February 22, Covid-19 Home Tests can be picked up at the Daniels County Courthouse hallway, Service Drug and DC Lanes. Please limit to 2 per family. For questions call the Daniels County Health Department at 406 487-5560

    CLASS C TO CLASS B

    The Montana High School Association has recently made changes with regard to Class C and Class B enrollment status. With these ne MHSA numbers in mind, there will be a meeting on Monday April 11th at the Scobey School Music Room from 7 to 8pm. To discuss the possibility of Class B status for Scobey Schools in the near future. Again, this meeting is scheduled for Monday April 11th from 7 to 8pm at the Scobey Schools Music Room. The public in encouraged to attend and provide inputs.

    SWIM TEAM PIE SALE

    On Saturday the 16th at 10am- the Swim team will be doing there Easter Pie Sale at Tandes Toggery, so come out and get that pie for your Easter Dinner on Saturday the 16th at 10am.

    TOWN HALL

    Governor Gianforte will be hosting a Town Hall Meeting on Thursday, April 21st, from 5:15 to 6:15 at the Lutheran Center as part of his second 56 County tour across Montana. I think that is about it. The Chamber is working with his office to secure the location for the meeting and getting the word out about it, but the Governor's Office is handling all other arrangements.

    JOHNSON

    Lydia Madelyn Johnson, 65, of Plentywood died on March 31, 2022 at the Billings Clinic. A Memorial Service will be held at 1PM Saturday, April 09, 2022 for Lydia Johnson at the Fulkerson Memorial Chapel in Plentywood. Immediately following the service there will be a luncheon at Angel Lite. Scattering of ashes will be conducted at later date.

    Beverly J. Pederson died March 28, 2022 at her farm home of rural Westby. Beverly was born April 10, 1953 in Crosby, ND.

    Services will be held April 30th at Plentywood Lutheran Church starting at 10am. Cremation has taken place. Milton Ellis Hovland, 78, formerly of Plentywood, died March 07, 2022 from complications of Covid in Hudson, Iowa.
